MONIKA KILAN-BOROWSKA
Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. Jana Matejki w Krakowie Wydział Architektury Wnętrz (2006 Wyróżnienie i Medal Akademii Sztuk Pięknych za dyplom), gdzie w roku 2012 uzyskała również tytuł doktora sztuki.
Laureatka i współautorka wielu wystaw. Członek ZPAP okręgu Bielsko-Biała. Prowadzi autorską pracownię artystyczno-projektową kilandesign.
Artystka fascynuje się graficznym zapisem natury oraz eksploruje osobiste przeżycia i doświadczenia urzeczywistniając je za pomocą minimalistycznych rysunków. W ostatnim czasie w spektrum jej zainteresowań pojawiła się Jungowska „nieświadomość indywidualna” i wpływ tej koncepcji na proces twórczy.
Wyprowadzany z nadgarstka zapis "statycznej energii" w spokojnym dążeniu do nieskończoności. Abstrakcje zbudowane z elementów natury, sugerujące zarówno ziemskie jak i kosmiczne siły. Linearne struktury igrające na świetlistej płaszczyźnie papieru. Znakomita ekonomia środków w niuansach i rezerwa wobec matematycznych rygorów minimalizmu na rzecz metody, która przekształca stabilność w ulotny obraz świata (..)

Graduated from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Faculty of Interior Design (2006 Distinction and Medal of the Academy of Fine Arts for the diploma), where in 2012 she also received the Doctor of Fine Arts title. She is fascinated by graphical processing of nature and spaces and she depicts reality using a minimalist approach. Recently, the Jung’s “individual unconscious” and its impact on the creative process have entered the spectrum of her interests. Co-author of numerous individual and group exhibitions. Member of the Associaton of the Polish Artist (ZPAP).
